ROCK FOR ROBOTS
Hi! I’m Rosie Ostrem, founder of Rock for Robots - a social impact business that organizes fundraising events. Our upcoming event will unite the worlds of rock music and robotics, resulting in a teen rock concert fundraiser. The goal? To support robotics programs right here in Davis. Come enjoy great music, tasty food, and friendship on a beautiful summer night - all while contributing to a meaningful cause!
About Me
I am so excited for this event because it combines two of my passions: playing guitar and supporting my robotics team. Our band is organized through Rock Band University, who supports youth music in Davis and is graciously helping host this concert. I also have done robotics since 4th grade! I started Rock for Robots because I wanted to find a way to contribute to raising money for my robotics team, and what better way to do it than a family-friendly, summer night teen rock concert?
Why Donate?
Robotics has been a huge part of my life; it has helped me learn engineering, problem solving, coding, and most importantly, teamwork. Donate so your kids can enjoy an even better experience than the one I had. Donate so my robotics team, Citrus Circuits, can have enough money to win Championships next year. Please note this is not an official Citrus Circuits or DJUSD sponsored event.
